BARBECUE EEL

Easiest recipe i ever seen..for those of you who have never had eel, they dont taste like chicken. they are actually pretty good. just go to your local eel store and get one about 1 1/2 pounds.

Cut the eel into 5-6 inch steaks. Season with salt and pepper 20 minutes before putting on a very low barbecue.
Cook very slowly to allow the eel to lose its fat and become crispy.
Serve immediately.

Vinny, you are now an official member of the Group's Far Side - Exotics!

I love fried-up eel rind, especially out in the wet during a hunt.
