I grew up in Purvis, Mississippi but was born in Weatherford, Texas. Both places are home to me. I lived in Weatherford as an adult for almost 10 years.

I've served as administrative assistant to Nursing Home Administrators, Hospice Directors and attorneys-at-law in Texas and Mississippi. During the 80's I managed economy lodging motels in Texas and Rhode Island. Along the way there have been many unskilled jobs such as cook, maid, various secretarial positions and answering service operator. For 3 years I was 911 dispatcher for Bar Harbor, Maine emergency services and worked part time with the town clerk there.

I'm an artist whose medium is oil painting on canvas in the realism style. My two sons are married and the older has given me two beautiful grandchildren. When I'm not painting I enjoy needlework and British murder mysteries. Television doesn't offer much these days except in the areas of nature and discovery.
